So the social network Ning is about to change its pricing policy (I should say add one, as Ning used to be free).
Many people are very upset about this new fee structure, as it can get pretty pricey for people hosting sites with more than150 users (nearly $20 per month).
Ning is an excellent social networking site, with many features for educators, but this new fee structure raises plenty of questions. Will you continue to host a Ning site? How much are you willing to pay? If you leave Ning, to where will you move your social network? Is Web 2.0 going commercial?
What do you think?
