Ed consultant Will Richardson explains the value of PLNs
The Personal Learning Network, or PLN, is a hot topic in education. Teachers who have been using Twitter for more than a year or two have an intimate understanding of the value of a PLN.
In the digital world, in which we live, the PLN is a valuable learning tool for students, too. Will Richardson, a respected expert in this field, explains how students are already using social networks to create their own PLNs. More important, he discusses the the responsibility teachers have for learning how to use these tools, so they can teach students how to create and use the PLN.
