President Obama is said to be emphasizing education in his State of the Union address Tuesday night.
Hey Mr. President
What if teachers across America tweeted at President Obama, telling him what's really wrong with education (not what Michelle Rhee or Oprah Winfrey think)?
This is your chance. Visit Twitter and post at the hashtag #HeyMrObama, also linked here. Tell President Obama exactly what is wrong with our profession (not to influence you, but lots of tweets against standardized testing would help), and tell him how teachers want it fixed.
Who knows, if we have stentorian voices, the president might just hear us.
