Learn it in 5 is looking to ramp up its new Videos for your Class section, and we need help.

We need your help

Our mission is to build a network of discussion-starting videos for all subjects and all ages. YouTube is a tremendous tool, but we want to make teachers' work easier, so we've created Videos for your class -- where we have eliminated tiring searches by locating the best of YouTube and other video hosts. Plus, we offer what we call a "Jumping off point," which helps teachers get the conversation started.

Finding quality, 5-minutes-or-less videos in all subjects for our library is a monumental task. If you are the kind of person who likes to contribute to other blogs, edit pages on Wikipedia, surf YouTube or you just have some spare time (ha, ha) and want to contribute to the greater good, this could be a job for you.

You might become famous

What we offer in return is fame and fortune; okay, maybe not fame either, but at least recognition. In the future, we're hoping to actually hire a part-time editor, but for the time being, the knowledge that you're creating something special is the only reward, along with credit for locating the video and a link to your blog or Twitter stream. Even though we're relatively new, we do get significant traffic from all over the world. So, it's conceivable that you could get a nice increase in hits to your blog or Twitter stream.

Start today

Getting started is very easy. Just find a video that you believe fits our Videos for your class library. Then, copy the web address of the video and contact us here, adding the video link and a sentence or two about the video. Don't forget a link back to your blog or Twitter stream. If we like the video, we'll post it right away. We'll send you a cordial thanks and ask for more.

That's it. Find a video and send it to us; it's really pretty easy.
