Does daylight saving time really save energy?
By: CBS Fast Draw
Jumping off point: As this video states, daylight saving time is designed to save energy, by providing more sunlight, so lights can be left off longer. As the Fast Draw video explains, however, recent research says that DST may actually use more energy than it saves. There are, as the video states, other benefits, though.
If daylight saving time is not saving energy, should the practice be continued?
