Twitter helps teachers, via mobile technology and more

Jumping off point: Your students love their smart cell phones and all of the cool mobile technology they supply. They would love to use them in class, yet most educators tell these tech wizards to leave the phones in their lockers or at home. Many students love social networks like Facebook and Twitter. Have you ever considered allowing your students to use their smart phones to incorporate Twitter use into the classroom?
